.The Opportunity:The Business Development Manager for EV - West (CA, HI, AK) will be responsible for driving sales within the assigned territory, with a focus on executing LG's strategic EV sales initiatives. Success in this role requires a proven track record and relevant experience in selling hardware and software solutions to Enterprise customers. Experience in selling EV charging stations and established industry relationships are highly desirable. This position will involve collaboration with LG business units, value-added resellers, electrical contractors, and distributors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, is creative, independent, and solutions-oriented. A deep understanding of the EV charging industry, a history of meeting sales targets, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support overall business goals are essential.The preferred location for this role is Los Angeles or Northern CaliforniaResponsibilities:Develop and implement a sales strategy for EV chargers that aligns with the company's overall objectives and sales goals.Identify and build relationships with key customers, channel partners, and stakeholders in the EV charging industry to meet regional targets.Secure new distribution and sales channels to expand the company's market presence.Efficiently prospect and develop new accounts, evaluating market potential and driving sales through established channels.Demonstrate enthusiasm for vehicle electrification with a foundational understanding of the electric vehicle charging landscape and knowledge across multiple industry verticals.Stay current with government and utility incentives, industry trends, and competitive developments to uncover new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.Develop a deep understanding of product offerings and maintain strong product knowledge.Manage and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, reporting progress to management regularly.Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote the company's EV charging solutions and establish thought leadership.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful implementation of projects.

Qualifications / Education / Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the EV charging or related industry.At least 5+ years of experience in the energy sector, specifically in sales and business development.Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets, preferably within the EV charging industry or a related market.Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes and engaging with C-suite executives and other key decision-makers.In-depth understanding of the EV charging industry, including charging technologies, market trends, and the regulatory environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key industry influencers.Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly committed to achieving success.Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and site visits as required.Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and monitor sales activities effectively.
