Observing their work, understanding their needs, and building strong partnerships are integral to our success.You will lead sales activities including new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, limited industry or product line within Alternate Site accounts.We're a friendly, collaborative group of people who push each other to do better every day. Whether out in the field with a partner or tackling challenges with your territory team, you always have camaraderie and support to help accomplish your goals.What you'll be doing:Achieving sales goals for Baxter's product lines which includes Baxter's Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Fluid Therapy portfoliosImplementing sales strategies and executing business plans to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectivesCalling on alternate site customers include (Home Infusion, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Consulting Pharmacy's, Physician Offices, Oncology and Distributors), delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and educationWorking in close harmony with Virtual Sales, Infusion Systems, Pharmacy and Nutrition Specialist reps to achieve assigned goals and objectivesProtecting, servicing, and growing current base of businessManaging and maximizing Baxter GPO contractsServing as a resource for market information for management and marketingWhat you'll bring:Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of relevant experience3+ years of medical sales experience is preferred with ideal candidates having experience with sales in Ambulatory Surgery Centers or Home Infusion settingsAbility to take personal accountability for achieving results and has the ability to "win" at each stage of the customer's buying process and ultimately earn the business on the right terms and in the right timeframe through successful negotiationCan maintain current business and drive sustainable long-term sales growth with existing and new customers through teamwork with internal sales and business partnersStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as sales negotiation and presentation skillsTravel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnelWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for commission.
