As an Assistant Account Manager at OneGroup, your job is a crucial part of our success and client retention, and your role has two parts. One, you'll work directly with clients issuing certificates and binders, answering billing questions, assisting in applications, and developing lasting relationships with various individuals from our client's operations. Those relationships are critical in helping cement our client's decisions to place their business with OneGroup. Two, you'll work with our senior account managers, assisting them in their duties with things like reviewing policies to ensure proper coverages, working on new business and renewal submissions, working on document management in our Applied Epic systems, or any other tasks that help move their work process forward and allow them to perform at the top of their game. You'll learn a ton from our Senior AM's about insurance and client service, and hopefully set yourself up to jump into a full Account Management role with us!This is a full-time position, with growth potential into an Account manager, and subsequently a Senior account manager based on your performance and insurance knowledge. While the duties can be varied, your daily activity will typically include:Issuing certificates of insurance and bindersHelping senior Account Managers with attaching documents in Applied EPICResolving customer questionsRenew proposalsSorting out direct bill inquiriesBilling new and renewal accounts in our systemChecking policies vs proposals to ensure policy accuracySubmitting claimsAssisting in RMV transactionsQualifications

College bachelor's degree or equivalent preferredCurrent Massachusetts Property and Casualty Insurance License preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracySolid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skillsExperience in agency management software, Applied EPIC a plusAbility to take direction and ask questionsStronger than average communication skillsAll applicants must be 18 years of age or olderEpic and insurance experience preferredOther Job Information

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
