Position Details:

Maximize revenue for designated account package by growing sales within existing accounts, developing new accounts at a level consistent with or exceeding company expectations. You will report to the District Sales Manager.

You Will:

Understand customer goals and remain alert and responsive to changing customer needsDemonstrate knowledge of market data and access to resources to quickly respond to new developments in the customer's businessResponsible for support of managed inventory tasks, increased contacts within the customer group and increased sales results.Understand Grainger's Value Proposition and explain to customers, providing solutions to grow profitable salesEstablish customer and market priorities to implement a strategic course of actionDevelop and implement account strategies, to include regular business reviews for customers to maximize salesDemonstrate full compliance of company sales and pricing guidelines Document and understand impact of customer-focused activities, to increase productivity and sales within assigned accounts

You Have:

Knowledge of sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planningTechnological capabilities and understanding to communicate in today's business environmentSkills to close an action, project and resolution or sales with customersArticulate plans, understand financial and total cost of ownership concepts with all levels of the organizationUtilize sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutionsProcess discipline, ability to align planning goals for pipeline developmentCollege or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years of direct outside sales experience
