All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full-Time, M-FThe role youll contribute:The EPIC Principal Training role works with the training managers, application coordinators and application managers to develop and maintain the training program for end users. The role is responsible for communicating training policies and procedures within the EHR build for their specific team and interacting with specialty champions and change managers. They are considered the team subject matter expert in build, decisions made, concepts and training needs for EPIC end users. Their role will be embedded in their team structure, with a reporting structure up through the Director of Workforce and Provider readiness. The EPIC Principal Trainers across AIT will work collaboratively to develop curriculum, training classes, setting training requirements and using an agile approach to training delivery methods.The value youll bring to the team:Developing rolebased training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applicationsDesigning, developing and maintaining instructional materialsMaintaining policy and procedure documentationIncorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration proceduresLearning new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer any participant questionsAssisting with building and testing of training environments, and providing support and troubleshooting issuesCollaborating with other trainers by cofacilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercisesPreparing training lessons, printing materials, and setting up the training room and environment prior to the training sessionPresenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easytounderstand mannerServing as an expert educator to internal staffTraining and credentialing additional classroom trainers as neededTraining staff and end users by teaching technical topics as neededManaging projects by prioritizing projects and by creating and adhering to timelinesCreate materials including brochures, multimedia visual aids, agendas, manuals and presentationsProvide end users with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.Build solid cross-functional relationships.Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (i.e. experiencing time pressure, conflict, or job ambiguity).Evaluates effectiveness of communication strategies.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:Prior Training experience on large projects with adoptive techniquesAssociate of Arts Degree or 2 equivalent years of experienceCurrent licensure in area of assignment (Clinical)Hold or successfully complete Epic HIM Certification within 90 daysExperience in Training Environment Build, Informatics and Training of ApplicationsExperience in project planning and curriculum managementExperience in leading group processes and changeExperience with gap analysis and workflow process mappingHIM/Identity Epic Certification (Principal Trainer)
