Job DescriptionThe Client Implementations Senior Business Analyst is responsible for on-boarding clients to the Infomediary Data Solution (IDS) suite of products and services. The individual will collaborate with IDS Sales/RM, Product Management, and Systems teams. The individual leads projects ensuring integrity throughout all phases of the project lifecycle and managing changes as necessary.

Key Responsibilities IncludeProject Management & Analysis:Review and assist in development of project plans, project workflows and resource assignments as requested by Project Manager.Ensure that all participants understand the objectives of the project and work together toward a common goal.Work with the client to understand the business need and gather data to document requirements that meet the project scope.Support the creation of a design solution that satisfies the client need, aligns with the project scope, and meets the goals and objectives.Manage the documentation of Change Requests, provide estimates of the effort required.Maintain issue log; coordinate and support communications surrounding all aspects of assigned projects.Ensure methodology is followed for project; provide meaningful feedback in accordance with departmental standards and guidelines.Ensure that all phases of testing, including user acceptance testing, regression testing, client testing and parallel/pilot testing, validate that development meets the specifications of requirements and design and satisfies the project scope.Assist Client Implementations Manager providing project and portfolio status reporting and analysis to senior leadership.Identify, mediate, resolve and eliminate miscommunications between business and technical project team members.Conduct user training.

Execution:Document requirements and perform detailed analysis to support client workflow, client configuration set up, mapping specifications, data gathering.Assist in resolution of the critical issues that may derail a project, provide solutions that demonstrate strong understanding of the product strategy and technical construct.Demonstrates strong subject matter expertise, including technical knowledge of associated products and system applications.Create client workflow documentation to illustrate the solution and present to the client.Ensure the team’s best practices are applied across all phases of the project.Manage the UAT phase of a project, document test strategy, write test scripts with traceability to the requirements, execute test scripts, document test results, report and manage defects.Assist clients in the client testing phase of the project.Participate in post project reviews and document lessons learned.

Client Service:Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Infomediary and Data Services product roadmaps.Understand the changing business needs and how it impacts the client workflows and recommend solutions.Lead the client through all project materials, present the solution and review client specifications to obtain client sign off.Provide an enhanced client experience by anticipating client needs related to the project by initiating and recommending actions that will lead to the successful completion of the project.Actively manage stakeholder expectations. Provide consistent updates, address, and resolve problems directly with stakeholders in order to manage their delivery expectations.Assist In the creation of IDS product announcements and modification of client demonstration materials as needed.Support clients through the pre-implementation tasks to ensure operational readiness for go live.

Coaching And Developing:Provides coaching and training to more junior Business Analyst.

Qualifications:5+ years of relevant professional experience; 8+ years of related experience with strong knowledge of data services, financial services, and/or project management.BA/BS degree and/or related work experience.5+ years of experience writing technical specifications, preferably at a financial services company with strong knowledge of data services.Skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Full understanding of the business model or the area(s) supported.Knowledge of project management discipline.Knowledge of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.Knowledge of software tools such as JIRA, Confluence.Ability to create presentations using software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.Ability to use standard desktop tools effectively (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office).Ability to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.Exposure to project work and project planning, as well as project management software.Client Service skills.Interviewing skills.Written and oral communications skills.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state or local law.
