About the Role In this role you are responsible for delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products within the Browse Top of Funnel Domain supporting Desktop and Mobile Web applications. The product Manager II will focus on delivering incremental value by driving product changes and working closely with a team of developers, UX designers, and business partners. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and support cross-functional product teams. What You'll Do

Gains a thorough understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, and uses that knowledge to help deliver a best-in-class shopping experience across Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta.Supports Sr Manager Product Manager in cross-functional working teams to design, develop, and implement prioritized product roadmap.Translates business goals and customer needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and any third-party partners.Proactively seek input from stakeholders to align the roadmap against business and customer needs.Forecast ROI, regularly report on product performance post launch, drive product adoption, and lead optimization plan.Identifies goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings.Manages and grooms the product backlog; makes future decisions based on the value that will be delivered.Monitors research as well as the competitive landscape to recommend the best solutions and ensure that products remain or become best in class.Formulates, tests, and refines assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing.Creates, prioritizes, and accepts user stories; incorporate them into release planning.Manage product lifecycles: continually evaluate product performance and key customer insights and ensure new product needs are identified far enough in advance to address needs before product obsolescence.Communicate product information: including product roadmap, requirements, value proposition, and competitive information to stakeholders.Provide regular updates to leaders and partners, sometimes catering the message depending on audience.Who You Are

Demonstrated experience with modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies.Experience working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis.Able to recognize when and how to pivot with ease and effectively deliver.Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization.Experience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design, and development team.Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding in a specific area of expertise including products.Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks required.Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to perform research and use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions.Experience conducting competitive research and analysis.Experience identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value.Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye for identifying new market opportunities and transforming that into an actionable plan.Thrive in ambiguity where the solution doesn't exist, and the problems aren't fully known.Results driven candidate that can take an idea and develop a strong business case that will become the team's roadmap.Knowledgeable in technology and enterprise software.Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Ability to work and lead across all parts of the organization.Comfortable and experienced in presenting product vision/strategy to large and senior audiences.2-3 years of relevant work experience as a Product Manager in a modern software development-based enterprise company.
