The Metal Ware Corporation is a privately owned company located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Metal Ware has been manufacturing consumer products for over 100 years. You may know us best through our brands such as NESCO, Chard, and Grizzly. We make many of our products here in our Two Rivers plant using injection molding, metal stamping and rotational molding equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, package, and label products for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.Verify outgoing shipments against sales orders and shipping documentation for accuracy in terms of quantity, destination, and item type.Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.Receive incoming shipments, inspect packages for damage or discrepancies, and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.Accurately document received goods in the inventory management system, including recording item quantities, descriptions, and locations.Notify purchasing and inventory control teams of any discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.Unpack and organize materials in designated storage areas and ensure items are stored properly to maintain quality.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by updating the inventory management system with incoming and outgoing shipments.Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including shipment logs, inventory records, and reports.Work closely with warehouse staff, production, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely shipments.Provide support to other departments by responding to shipping or receiving-related inquiries and resolving issues.Requirements

1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Must be reliable and dependable, in addition to above-average attendance.Must have a valid driver's license.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (forklift certification is a plus).Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Familiarity with ERP systems and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager). Prior forklift experience is preferred.
