Work Schedule: This is a casual position. Casual employees work on an 'as needed' basis to meet the needs of the business. Work days/hours will often vary from week to week. Hours could vary M-F between 8a-4:30p. However, client need may result in a few early morning starts, late events or a very seldom weekend request for an hour or two. Possibility of up to 20 hours per week.

Methodist Health System is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Training Consultant to join our Best Care Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team. At Best Care EAP, we are dedicated to enhancing lives through mental well-being and providing exceptional care. As a Training Consultant, you will be the vital face of our organization, with the exciting responsibility of meeting with clients and their employees both in person and virtually. You will deliver impactful content designed to help their organizations thrive and grow.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

Program Design and Content.Designs written and visual training materials in the areas of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) utilization and promotion, business, management, leadership, health and wellness to assist in the achievement of a more productive, healthy workforce.Expands current training list by creating/developing new programs.Utilizes thorough consultation, needs assessments and/or focus groups in order to identify the specific needs of the client(s).Incorporates current materials and research (continuously updates programs based on current research and trends).Program material (content) is easily understood by participants.Handouts, visual aids and /or activities are used and support the subject.Program material has the potential to benefit personal and/or professional lives of participants.Facilitation Skills.

Is well prepared, organized and knowledgeable on the various topics presented.Presents material with enthusiasm and confidence.Utilizes effective presentation skills (eye contact, facial expressions, vocal projection, etc.).Evaluation: Achieves Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty through High Quality Programs/Presentations.

Every program presented is evaluated by EAP trainer or company contact.All evaluations turned in monthly to EAP manager for review.Presentations meet the needs of the participants/customers as demonstrated by maintaining an average score of 9.0/10 on training evaluations.Consultation Skills.

Works with clients to identify needs.Utilizes, analyzes and/or interprets aggregate personnel data, group processes, standardized instruments, etc. to help departments/organizations improve their performance and effectiveness.Designs and facilitates appropriate interventions to meet the needs of the client. Those interventions may include: problem identification; goal setting; strategic planning; executive, management or employee coaching; team conflict interventions/mediation; referrals for individual counseling; and/or customized management and employee training.Achieves participant satisfaction and motivation as identified by questionnaires and personal follow-up.Acts with integrity and in the best interest of the client.Time and Project Management.

Allows sufficient time for preparation and follow-up.Helps manage work flow in the department and the EAP as a whole, in order to meet the needs of the customer.Meets requests for services in a manner and time deemed appropriate by the client and EAP management, ensuring that services are consistent with the expectations of the customer or the process.Arrives at customer worksite in sufficient time to set up, organize materials and greet participants.Account Management/EAP Promotion.

Includes EAP promotion each time when providing client services on site in order to promote utilization of the EAP counseling services.Assists with any other promotional/account management activities as requested (health fairs, report meetings, etc.).Develops business relationships and professional networks covering a wide variety of customers/clients to establish a foundation for the promotion and use of BCEAP services.Record Keeping.

Records and data entry are accurate.Records and data entry are timely (done by due date given).Utilizes appropriate forms (e.g. company billings, etc.).Schedule:

Bachelor's degree required.Master's Degree preferred.Experience

Public Speaking, training and/or education.Consultation, behavioral assessment, problem analysis.Individual and group intervention design and delivery, coaching and mediation.Design of written and visual training materials using WORD and PPT.Experience in management or supervision extremely helpful.License/Certifications

Knowledge of relevant theory and application in the following areas: adult education; curriculum design and delivery.Knowledge of organizational development including client-consultant relations, organizational culture, organizational assessment, management and employee training.Ability to design, development and facilitation of individual (employee and leader), team and inter-group interventions.Requires well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Requires the ability to organize, implement and follow-up.Computer skills necessary include Word and Power Point.Ability to travel regularly within the Omaha metropolitan area and frequently throughout Nebraska or anywhere else a current or prospective EAP client may be located.Requires the ability to carry equipment and to deliver and distribute promotional and educational materials weighing up to 45 pounds.Knowledge in the areas of wellness/wellbeing, business soft skills, behavioral health and EAP, management and leadership skills.Ability to teach and impact adults in these areas.Ability to research and then develop curriculum and supporting materials for successful delivery.Physical Requirements
