JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Finance is responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight over multiple customer-centric manufacturing plants. This position oversees financial compliance with company standards and government regulations, consistent use of financial tools and reports, accuracy of financial transactions and statements, and timely reporting. The Director of Finance interfaces with Operations management providing meaningful financial information and guidance to support decision making to meet financial commitments.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hire, train, and develop the corporate consolidation and accounting team.Ensure compliance with Android Business System (ABS).Ensure adherence to the use of standard financial tools including QAD, Adaptive, daily/weekly/monthly reporting packages, forecast/budget standard templates, budget readiness reporting, account reconciliation templates, etc.Ensure compliance with local financial statutory and regulatory requirements.Ensure that local and regional financial statements and ad hoc requests are accurate, consistent, complete, timely and in accordance with Company policies, country requirements, industry practices, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Lead the audit and ensure a timely clean audit.Manage Risks and Opportunities by working with the department leaders to minimize, eliminate and mitigate risks while maximizing and realizing opportunities.Provide guidance on capital expenditures - Capital Asset Request (CAR) completion, understanding payback, and ensuring plants are making the best use of available capital.Provide leadership to the local team in the update of the 5-year forecast and development of annual budgets, monthly/weekly forecasts, the analysis of the variances to each, and holding the local teams accountable to the results.Provide leadership to departmental teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead Budget Readiness Reviews, reinforcing continuous improvement mindset.Develop new and improve existing analysis tools incorporating benchmarking, best practice identification, error identification.Lead annual 5-year forecast update and budget process.Support departmental leaders in financial matters.Develop annual finance KPI targets.Act as subject matter expert on doing business in the country for international plants.Lead local Finance activities, in coordination with Corporate, relating to the implementation of new contract awards.All other duties as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (minimum) CPA or CMA preferred.Experience leading an audit.10+ years’ accounting experience with operational competency in the manufacturing industry (automotive preferred), Tier 1 supplier experience is a plus with the OEMs; 5+ years’ increasing management/leadership oversight.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Regional/multi-country, multi-location management responsibility experience.Proven experience in leading the development of annual/monthly/weekly budgets and forecasts with leadership teams and holding teams accountable to committed results.Expertise in month closing process, financial statement preparation, variance analysis.Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (QAD preferred).Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.Proven problem-solving experience.Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with urgency and confidentiality.Ability to coach and mentor team members.Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.BENEFITS:
