Have the opportunity to start your training on one of our two acute care units with a pathway to get to the NCCU. The Department of Neurosciences cares for patients with a variety of neurosurgery and neurology medical/surgical diagnoses. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are a valued member of our team and will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care to patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling's, and more! Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosciences is at the forefront of groundbreaking treatments and our RNs care for a broad spectrum of patients with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, myasthenia gravis, MS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, ALS, seizures, etc. Our nurses work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team including MDs, Physician Assistants, Surgeons, PT/OT/SLP, Social Work, and other specialties.
