Job Description - OCHMO Standards Integrator (STA015387)OCHMO Standards IntegratorDescriptionThis position supports the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCHMO) HMTA Standards Fellow at NASA/JSC. The OCHMO Standards Integrator develops and maintains NASA Standard 3001 Volumes 1 & 2, Human Spaceflight Standards. The position will engage subject matter experts for technical details and maintain broad knowledge of human health and performance requirements. Integrators are assigned to specific areas such as crew health, environmental factors, medical operations, physiology, biomechanics, safety, habitability, information management, and displays. Will interface with OCHMO, HMTA, and HH&P management, implement Human Systems Integration strategies, and leverage lessons learned to improve outcomes.Duties:Responsible for compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan, policies, and procedures.Identify gaps in existing standards, requirements, and supporting documentation based on NASA spaceflight strategy.Participate in development, implementation, and execution of educational outreach strategy materials to inform users of intent, background, and application of NASA-STD-3001 and supporting documentation.Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental plan; must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the Company's safety policies and rules, and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management.Coordinate with subject matter experts and vehicle development program integrators to develop, maintain, and update HMTA Standards and supporting documentation.Screening products coming to OCHMO for review and approval.Demonstrate a positive problem-solving attitude with an enthusiasm for working as part of an exceptional team.Maintain regular and acceptable attendance level as determined by the Company.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science, Engineering, Human Factors, or related discipline.Experience in a fast-paced professional environment, supporting multiple projects.Knowledge or ability to interpret standards.Familiarity with NASA mission operations and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software at intermediate to advanced working level.Effective written and verbal communication skills, both formal and informal, including oral presentations.Interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and support multiple projects.Ability to communicate with stakeholders and other strategic partners to KBR.Required Attachments by Candidate:
