As the Cybersecurity Controls Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team in the affirmation of comprehensive, risk-based evaluations of cybersecurity controls that are critical to protecting our organization and its stakeholders. In this Manager role, you will collaborate closely with key partners across Cybersecurity, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to influence change, drive innovation, and elevate our cybersecurity posture.Our Cybersecurity team works remotely; however we prefer you live within driving distance to a corporate office for the occasional office connectivity days. Office locations include, Baltimore, Wilmington DE, Charlotte NC, Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix/Tempe, Evansville, IN, and Chicago.Note:

Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the development and execution of a sophisticated cybersecurity Controls Assurance program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated ability to lead a Controls Assurance function specifically guidance of multiple team members to adhere to testing and reporting procedures.Implementation of continuous process improvements across testing capabilities to ensure leveraged methodologies support regulatory and industry requirements.Train and support junior members of the controls assurance team to ensure appropriate performance and execution of their job responsibilities.Promote awareness of the effectiveness of the Controls Assurance program by producing reporting of progress and risk mitigation to multiple levels of stakeholders.Lead control walkthrough discussions.Contribute to risk management by identifying risk, collaborating with control owners, and ensuring that risk is accurately captured.Demonstrate the ability to understand controls and requirements then identify issues and determine required remediation efforts.Lead team discussions in innovation and process improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7-8 years of related work experience in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major.A minimum of 6+ years of related work experience in developing, implementing, or architecting information security control programs with a strong understanding of information security regulatory requirements, compliance issues and audit components.Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements, controls, and standards, with a particular focus on industry frameworks such as CIS Top 20, New York Department of Financial Services 23 NYCRR 500, NIST, and SOC 2.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a history of implementing innovative solutions in the realm of Controls Assurance and risk management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, including executive leadership.#LI-DWB
