Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. The world can’t wait.You Have:Experience in system integration, including upgrades, testing, and configuration of network components on the Emulation Test Bed, including traffic stimulation and TGENExperience with supporting system testing by performing test-scenario development or network traffic stimulation, including TGEN, system configurations, test-run execution and monitoring, network data capture, data storage, and post-test database generationExperience with performing data analysis, including analyzing the network data collected from the test runs and producing data products for management reviewExperience in developing performance metrics, including throughput, latency, and packet completion rateExperience with producing network topology graphs and correlating its impact on network connectivity during the test runExperience with identifying anomalous network behavior and providing explanations or directions on how to resolve the issueExperience with designing and developing new GUI screens to display network performance statisticsExperience with updating the TRANCE backend PCAP parser to recognize packets from VLAN locationsSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software engineering, networking engineering, and systems engineering in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience with Java, Python, C#, C / C++, .NET, and JavaScriptExperience with networking, including CCNAExperience with VMwareExperience with developing an automated and customized set of SQL queries to analyze network statisticsExperience with troubleshooting external network issuesAbility to develop and implement a test plan to validate a major rewrite of a backend processor in C++Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
