Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Kafka Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled data engineer to design and build scalable solutions, contributing to the bank's data management, security, and value generation efforts.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and support data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes for rapid business capability delivery.Collaborate with IT application teams, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and other stakeholders to translate business and technical strategies into effective data-driven solutions.Serve as a technical expert, addressing issues related to system and application design, performance, integration, and security.Conduct research and development on current trends and technologies in the banking industry, data engineering, architecture, and data security.The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a hands-on software development role.Proficient in relational database modeling, Unix/Linux, and Windows systems.Solid conceptual understanding of distributed computing principles.Knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and vulnerabilities.Experience with at least one major RDBMS product.Familiarity with big data technologies, ETL tools, BI and reporting tools, messaging systems, data warehousing, Java, version control systems, CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and cloud services.Previous experience working with offshore teams is desired, and financial industry experience is a plus.
