Join Apple’s Customer Systems team within the IS&T organization as a Software Development Engineer. We develop innovative applications that support Apple partners and customers. These applications have contributed to Apple’s #1 position in customer support for the last thirteen years. The ideal candidate should have a good foundation in technology, a proactive mindset, and strong written and verbal communication skills.Description

Design, build, deliver, and support software applications and solutions with great user experience and high quality. Implement and follow best practices in development. Stay on top of the latest and most innovative technologies in the industry. Take full technical ownership and responsibility for the work you're doing. Partner with business to ensure their expectations are met and handled.Minimum Qualifications

Working experience in software development of iOS or macOS appsKnowledge of Swift programming, including language features, best practices, and performance optimizationKnowledge and experience developing in iOS or macOS UI frameworks in SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKitProficiency in working with networking and service API integrationMust be able to communicate technical topics such as software design, root cause analysis, with various targeted audiencesPreferred Qualifications

4 years development experience in iOS or macOS apps4 years work experience in SWIFT development4 years work experience with iOS or macOS UI frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, and AppKitExperience with tools for source code management and CI/CD processExperience with developing accessibility features in iOS and macOS appsExperience with writing UI test and performance test code using XCTest framework for iOS and macOS applicationsExperience with using Xcode instruments to profile, analyze apps, and troubleshoot performance issuesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world working experienceApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
