Job Summary

Installs/configures, operates, and maintains software, hardware, and web services for the department. Ensures that all technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. Makes certain that all hardware and software systems adhere to FIU's Division of IT established guidelines. Provides direct technical support to staff, physically and/or virtually.Provides technical support to the One Stop administration, staff, and student workers as needed.Assists with installation/configuration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of software and hardware systems.Assists with maintaining the departmental inventory.Troubleshoots all endpoints (computers, tablets, monitors, TVs, and kiosks) and their hardware and software related errors.May be required to assist in troubleshooting for MMC and BBC periodically.Creates innovative designs for OneStop and The Division of Enrollment Management & Services.Designs and creates print and digital marketing materials.Proof all designs for spelling, grammar, and consistency.Assists with creation, updating, and resolutions of incidents/requests in ticketing (CRM) systems.Assists with website updates and content management.Liaise with teams from other technical departments such as PantherSoft, Enrollment CRM and Comm, Media Technology Support, and other technical groups.Manages user accounts (creation, deletion, and permissions) in the line management system.Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years experience in IT related field; OR six (6) years experience in IT related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, and JAMF.Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop.Solid understanding of software applications and IT systems.Intermediate knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
