The position focuses on design and development of front-end user interfaces, geoprocessing tools, and backend data processing. This on-site position is located at NASA’s Stennis Space Center, supporting the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) and the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO).This is a full-time on-site position with options for telework based on project timelines.Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or another relevant technical fieldCurrently active Secret security clearanceRequired Experience:

Experience with object-oriented programming languagesMinimum 7 years of experience in software development or a related fieldDesired Qualifications:

Experience with:

Programming languages such as Python or C/C++Linux-based operating systems and shell scriptingWeb development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptDeveloping and performing test plans, test cases, and code reviewsApplication hardening and security

Self-motivated individual able to take initiative and set own schedulesStrong oral and written communication skills
