We are seeking a
Software Engineer II
to be responsible for collaborating with System and Software Engineers to design and develop custom Kubernetes operators to manage the deployment and sustainment of a containerized service that customers can provision and access on demand inside a Kubernetes cluster.
Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Position Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience writing Bash/Python scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflowsExperience developing Java applications in a Linux environmentExperience with SQL technologies such as PostgreSQLExperience with NoSQL technologies such as ElasticsearchExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes operators to automate the management of complex applications throughout their lifecycleExperience with Git Version Control System
Position Desired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence)Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting supportExperience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLabQualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityORSeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
