Cyber Security Engineer with Security Clearance
Responsibilities:Oversees the implementation of DoDD 8530.1, DoDD 8500.2, DoDI 8510.1, DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework, and other applicable NIST and CNSS IA directives, instructions, guidelines.Interfacing with the MDA Information Assurance management and case managers.Capability to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet network and system security requirements.Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems, networks, and applications.Lead and manage the implementation of required network security to safeguard all computer systems, network, and data in accordance with current policies and regulations.Assess the security risks of IT systems, network, and software applications and document them in formal security and risk assessments.Drive cyber strategy and provide insight into all policy and technical decisions.Experience in providing Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodial Experience.Test to validate established security requirements, recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.Support the formal testing required by government accrediting authorities and prepare System Security Plans.IA certification IAW DoD Instruction 8570.01M required.Qualifications:If you are an incumbent employee currently working on the MDDC contract and are interested in continuing in your position under the new contract as part of the PeopleTec AIMSS team, you can submit your information through our dedicated platform or explore positions on the PeopleTec Careers Page.
