The Senior Estimator leads and trains Estimating personnel while following Preconstruction standards and processes.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and training Estimating personnel
Developing accurate, detailed construction cost estimates at progressive design stagesDeveloping associated scope of work clarificationsIdentifying risk items and associated order of magnitudeAssisting with Preconstruction resource managementAssisting with the development and utilization of the Preconstruction processes, standards and toolsAssisting the Pricing Lead and participates in estimate review meetingsContributing to cost savings exercisesAssisting with the development of bid packagesAssisting with the project construction budgetAssisting with Preconstruction-Operations Turnover MeetingsAssisting with Subcontractor and Vendor relationshipsAssisting with project procurement and buyoutCollaborating with Preconstruction LeadershipCollaborating with designers and clientsCollaborating and assists the project operations teamFollowing project construction costs and market trendsParticipating in Preconstruction software development, maintenance and historical costsTraveling as required, 10% - 20%Other duties which may be assigned as neededEducation/Experience:Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent and 5 years of estimating experience preferred or 15 years relevant experience in the construction industryTo thrive in this role, you'll need:Architectural Estimating experienceRevit/Navisworks experience preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsDesign-Build and CMAR project delivery method experienceProven computer skills, including the utilization of estimating software systemsJoin our team and be a driving force behind our project success!At Haskell, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and more. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
