Our unique business model ensures that our team has a good work/life balance (even during tax season) and offers flex scheduling Monday through Friday. Remote and Hybrid schedules considered for qualified candidates.Job responsibilities include:Prepare and review business, individual, and other entity tax returnsAdvise clients on tax, accounting and business needs while developing relationshipsManage projects and deadlinesOversee the review of client work, ensuring accuracy and quality, while guiding staff members in their tasks.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating with other departments to innovate and strategize for the firm's future.Provide expert advice on financial and tax matters, including tax planning and preparation of complex tax returns.Review work prepared by staff, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to foster their development.Conduct tax researchParticipate in firm activities and weekly meetingsRecommended Skills/QualificationsCPA Certified with an active CPA license5+ years of public accounting experienceBachelor's degree in AccountingTechnical knowledge of tax laws and regulations with the ability to analyze issues and provide solutionsExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skillsSolid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentalsSelf-starter, professional demeanor, and confidence working with clientsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive working in a team environmentBenefits include but are not limited to:Flexible schedulesCompetitive
