SUMMARY:

The Salesforce Platform Technical Architect will support the full implementation lifecycle, from scoping to deployment, within an evolving ecosystem that includes various lines of business. This role involves designing comprehensive and scalable Salesforce solutions, configuring systems to meet specific banking needs, and providing technical leadership to ensure successful project delivery. The Technical Architect is an expert in Financial Services Cloud, must have experience with nCino applications/products and will collaborate closely with our Salesforce Platform Team to ensure customer success.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties and special projects may be assigned.Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, objectives, and processes related to the banking domain. Design comprehensive and scalable solutions for Salesforce ecosystem that align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance. Prototype new solutions in lower environment to showcase new functionality.System Configuration: Utilize expertise in Salesforce and nCino capabilities to configure and customize the systems for the bank's line of business. Configure objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards to optimize processes and enhance user experience.Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for Salesforce and nCino implementations. Consider security, data governance, and scalability requirements, providing guidance to development teams and ensuring adherence to best practices.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Product Analysts, Delivery Team, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to communicate design, progress, and risks.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Salesforce and nCino architecture, including functional specifications, technical designs, data models, and integration workflows. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development/administrative teams, ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce and nCino solutions. Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.Industry Expertise: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the banking and financial services domain. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and recommend improvements to the Salesforce ecosystem.Project Lifecycle Support: Lead functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Salesforce Platform team, driving conversations with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to shape the architectural vision and establish a program architectural roadmap. Manage user expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems with both users and third-party stakeholders.Strategic Guidance: Guide IT partners and Salesforce implementation team on executing digital transformation using the Salesforce platform products. Establish trust with business leaders, promoting and implementing standard processes via Salesforce. Develop sophisticated business processes using native Salesforce Industries technology and integration tools. Proactively highlight and manage risk areas in solutions, committing to see issues through to completion.Adhere to and comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).Adhere to Bank policies and procedures and complete required training.Identify and report suspicious activity.

EDUCATION

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.EXPERIENCE

10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.Experience with Domains - Banking and Financial Services.Experience with Integration Architecture required.Experience with Platform Security required.Experience with Identity and Access Management/Integration Security.Experience with Sharing and Visibility required.Experience with Data Architecture and Management required.Experience with Architectural Design Patterns.Experience with Apex Design Patterns required.Experience with Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others) required.Experience with OmniStudio Developer/Consultant.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Salesforce Certification preferred (Admin, Developer, Sales, and Service Clouds, Application Architect).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Expertise in one or multiple of - Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Sales/Service/Experience/Marketing Cloud, and OmniStudio.Product knowledge and experience - Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, nCino -- LOS and Treasury Services and Financial Services Cloud (FSC).Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in banking and financial services.Expertise in User Journey preparations, User Story reviews, Data Modeling, Apex Design Patterns, and other modern UI techniques.
