Overview:HKS Denver is searching for a talented Sr. Project Architect to join their Health team.A recognized leader and licensed Architect who is responsible for envisioning, designing and delivering exceptional projects for clients. Possesses strong communication skills, a flexible attitude, ability to solve problems creatively and ability to foster and manage effective client relationships. Responsible for high-impact decisions. Provides technical leadership and acts as an advisor on projects. Endorses the firm's values by personally influencing client service, innovation and communication. Acts as subject matter expert for technical solutions.Responsibilities:Leads team and other Project Architects in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problemsCollaborates with PIC/PM in defining project work plans and developing and managing the production schedule, including effectively defining and meeting deadlinesLeads the creation and modification of complex detailed implementation documents to incorporate the design intent, using diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices and advanced techniquesLeads development of code analysis and confirms code and zoning requirements for assigned segment of project are metSupervises the preparation of documents by architectural team, including verifying implementation documents conform to QA/QC and HKS standards, best practice and quality expectationsManages the technical resolution and coordination for the projectWrites reports or specifications for assigned projectPrepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawingsMaintains open communication with client and provides guidance through projectsCoordinates with PM, clients, public agencies, consultants and contractors to incorporate engineering systems, respond to requests for information, clarifications and modifications, and obtain approvals, negotiations and adjusting scope of servicesCommunicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and delivery of final presentationAttends on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings and documents as neededResponsible for preparing and/or reviewing meeting minutes for consultant coordination meetingsFosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team, including promoting communication and creating approachabilityActively promotes and incorporates the firm's principles of 'design excellence' through the integration of responsible and sustainable design practice with the art of designCollaborates in managing project to satisfy requirements from budget and schedule perspective while delivering a quality work productResponsible for delivering a project on defined budget requirements and maintaining accountability to project plan and planned utilization rateSupports and may lead the business development process by identifying new opportunities, marketing current clients for repeat business and assisting with proposals, budgets and schedulesMay lead proposal preparation process and participates in negotiation of scope and fees on contractsMay participate in marketing interviewsQualifications:Accredited professional degree in ArchitectureArchitectural Registration requiredTypically 15+ years of experienceSustainable design accreditation preferredProficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and 3D modeling software preferredExperience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign graphic software preferredProficiency in MS Office Suite preferredAdvanced knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelinesAdvanced knowledge of architectural building systems, accessibility guidelines and QA/QC processAdvanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into implementation documentsStrong presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeAbility to manage team with diplomatic leadership style which puts value on relationships and collaboration, both internal and externalAbility to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writingBase Salary Range:

$112K - $150K

annually -

the Denver location only .
