Job DescriptionTechnical / Applications Engineer - Inside Sales

We are looking for a technical person with sales aspirations to become an inside sales support and learn the inner workings of compressed air and gas packaged systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare commercial and technical proposals as instructed by sales personnel and customers.

Actively engage and follow-up on warm and active sales leads.

Swiftly respond to inbound calls and inquiries from customers.

Professionally interact with customers and vendors.

Utilize technical tools to size and apply all equipment into working packaged systems for evaluation.

Examine detailed engineering specifications.

Educate customers on best application practices.

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities for value-add engineering.

Collaborate with Project Management in initial meetings to define a project’s capacity for reliable and hassle-free order execution.

Educate and learn current rotating equipment packages, key project deliverables, respective budgets, and preliminary estimation for smooth project execution after receipt of order.

Preferred Qualifications

Interpret engineering drawings (wiring/GA/MFG).

Exceptional understanding of mechanical rotating equipment.

Exceptional understanding of electrical components.

Mechanical system integration.

Understand detailed technical specifications for a full scope of the project.

Blower/compressor performance.

Relevant industry sales or project management experience.

Technical college degree.
