Valley Health System is looking for a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the team. The Valley Health System is one of the largest and most honored healthcare providers in New Jersey. The Valley Medical Group is part of the Valley Health System. Valley Medical Group (VMG) is a multispecialty group practice comprised of physicians and advanced practice providers representing more than 50 medical and surgical specialties. VMG believes the relationships among its doctors and providers are central to success.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Valley Medical Group is seeking a full-time, Licensed, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join its Pediatrics department. The practice office is located in Ridgewood. The Pediatric Endocrinology program at Valley takes a patient-focused, evidence-based medicine approach for managing patients with general endocrine diseases, primarily diabetes and thyroid disease. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, flexible, a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical, and relationship-building skills who enjoys a nonacademic, dynamic, community-based office and hospital setting.
The Pediatrician will care for children ages 0-18 years and will work with VMG leadership to build and market a Pediatric Endocrinology program. Responsibilities include directing the activities of the medical staff, ensuring clinical services are delivered safely and appropriately, establishing care plans, modeling service excellence behavior, and participating in on-call schedules as needed.
EDUCATION:
NJ State Medical License: Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey required.
Board Certification in Pediatric Diabetics, Metabolism, and Endocrinology.
BLS, PALS certification required.
Maintains CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.
