OverviewTo direct and manage the Debit Cards Strategy and Analytics branches of Debit Card Division. Provide strategic direction for Debit Card products. Identify solutions that drive high-level SMD and corporate decisions. Set performance standards and expectations to ensure goals and objectives align with division/department's policies, procedures, and company strategies. Serve as change agent to champion innovation in product development and delivery. Ensure successful management and oversight of large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Consult with business unit management to identify process, system, and/or resource deficiencies and determine desired results. Direct report to the SVP Debit Card.ResponsibilitiesUnder the leadership of the SVP Debit Cards assume responsibility/accountability for the leadership, direction, and management of the Debit Cards Strategy and Analytics branches.Monitor the business environment, competition, and trends and how these may impact Navy Federal's product line.Identify changing business needs based on service goals, performance, and competitors' developments.Develop viable business solutions that anticipate members' needs, increase/retain membership, increase product penetration, decrease inactivity, forecast industry trends, and increase/maintain marketplace competitiveness.Establish, develop, and foster effective internal and external relationships and partnerships.Ensure coordination and collaboration with internal partners on strategic directives and tactical execution.Partner with Department senior management to determine the direction of large-scale strategic initiatives that address short and long-term business opportunities and strategies.Represent Debit Cards in corporate wide initiatives and serves as subject matter expert on trends and competitor activity impacting Debit Cards.Oversee the design and development of monitoring tools, models, and dashboards capable of correlating risk with various profit/loss scenarios to determine appropriate optimization methodologies.Review variance reports and coordinates input for monthly board packages, Balance Sheet, and top management presentations.Ensure availability of necessary materials for policy decisions.Oversee projects, studies, reports, and analyses which result in the introduction and enhancement of Debit Cards products and services.Lead member and market research, product analysis, benchmarking, and marketing campaigns for Debit Cards programs and services in collaboration with Marketing and Member Research & Intelligence.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Advanced statistical knowledge and superior analytical, reconciliation, and deductive reasoning, including prior experience in detailed data analysis, model development, and data interpretation.Significant experience with financial and member service operations to include understanding of effective member service philosophy.Advanced knowledge of debit cards, marketing, research, and investment principles.Advanced knowledge of state and Federal laws, Navy Federal policies, and market practices and trends pertaining to Debit Cards.Advanced knowledge of project management strategies, practices, and standards, including extensive experience managing complex full life-cycle projects or teams to include cost, resource, and time estimation.Ability to lead others in a challenging environment, manage multiple initiatives, meet changing requirements/priorities, solve problems, exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives.Ability to communicate highly complex technical concepts to non-technical and senior management staff.Significant experience working with all levels of employees, management, stakeholders, and vendors.Advanced verbal and written communication skills.Effective negotiation and persuasion skills.Desired Qualification(s)Familiarity with Navy Federal's objectives, functions, and policies.Knowledge of Navy Federal automated systems used in the Department.Project management certification (PMP).Hours:
