Overview

Job Purpose and Summary:

To provide preventive oral health services to CHLA patients within the scope of their practice, as assigned. To develop oral health prevention and education programs in close collaboration with Attending Faculty in the Division of Dentistry. Assist in the implementation and delivery of oral health educational programs. Manage and track patient care information to ensure efficacy of oral health programs implemented. May assist in managing and supervising other dental auxiliary duties as assigned by Manager. To act as primary liaison between the CHLA Division of Dentistry and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of assigned patients.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Experience with pediatric and special needs population preferred. Working knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets and data management. Basic understanding of organizational dynamics. Interpersonal, communication, and team building skills. Ability to work in a high pace environment while maintaining a positive attitude and being a great team player. Flexible.License, Registration or Certification Required:Current RDH California license (RDHAP preferred)Local anesthesiaNitrous oxideSoft tissue curettageX-ray certificateCurrent CPR card from AHA requiredPay Scale Information

USD $52,208.00 - USD $90,178.40

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
