Job Description:
This full-time Sign Production Specialist/Installer position works under the guidance of a senior team member for aspects of the physical production of signs. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and using the proper machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare signs for printing, cutting, and routing.
Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, plotting, printing, weeding, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
Install signs: both vinyl and dimensional letters to interior and exterior surfaces.
Perform quality checks against proofs and customer requirements to ensure the product is made correctly.
Work as a team player to complete orders accurately and on time with the customer service rep and graphic designer.
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the franchisee.
Consult/interface with customers when required.
Act as a backup designer and backup customer service rep if needed (will train).
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques as the company grows.
Minimum Requirements:
Sign Installer: 2+ years experience.
Sign Production: 2+ years experience.
Graphic Design: 3+ years experience and training in Adobe Illustrator.
Worked in a full-service vinyl sign shop and can design, produce, and install signs with minimal training and supervision.
Machines:
Epson Surecolor S60600 Vinyl Printer, Mimaki Plotter CG160FX2, KalaMistrial Laminator, Colex Sharpcut Router, CWT Applicator Table - Operate and Maintain Equipment.
Software:
Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Onyx RIP, Corebridge POS, Mimaki FineCut Software.
