Warwick Animal Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island is growing and looking for Veterinarians of all experience levels - both new grads and experienced Veterinarians! Our team has a unique synergy and we all draw from each other’s diverse personalities and backgrounds. We treat each case as a team, collaborating across our doctors, techs, and support staff.We have a large treatment area where we practice small animal urgent care medicine and preventative care. Our hospital is equipped with the following machines:Oxygen door in one of our larger kennels to provide indirect oxygen supportDirect oxygen lines through the building for anesthesiaSurgical suite with two surgery tables and two wet tables for dentals and shorter proceduresIn-house bloodwork machines through IdexxCatalyst machine for chemistry panelsProCyte Dx CBC machineiSTAT machine for more specific panelsSediVue urinalysis machineSeveral SNAP pro-analyzers.Digital radiographs (both whole body and dental radiographs)Ultrasound for AFAST/TFAST examinationsCompanion Animal Laser machine for various therapeutic indicationsVeterinarians work an average of 34 hours during the typical week, which is divided between morning (8am-4pm or 8am-5pm) and evening shifts (11am-7pm), with one dedicated surgery day a week, and one Saturday each month.
