VP Finance (based in Sarasota, FL)

As a VP of Finance for our Client's fast growing BU, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success and operational efficiency within our Client's organization. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can balance financial acumen with a hands-on, proactive approach to optimize processes, enhance profitability, improve forecasting, and support sustainable growth across their global locations. This position is based in Sarasota, FL.Duties/Responsibilities:Developing and executing financial strategies aligned with long-term growth and short-term results, in collaboration with leadership.Enhancing operational efficiency by analyzing processes, optimizing resource allocation, and managing cash flow effectively.Creating and managing budgets, forecasts, and models to align with strategic goals and ensure financial health.Overseeing accurate financial reporting, compliance with standards, and integration of new businesses.Identifying and mitigating financial risks, implementing internal controls, and fostering ethical behavior.Leading and developing a high-performance financial team, and collaborating across departments for aligned objectives.Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.• Proven experience as a senior finance executive in a public, global, multi-location organization.• Possesses fifteen years of current Finance/Accounting experience, plus five years in a functional leadership capacity, demonstrating ability to apply knowledge and skills in a business environment and attain objectives.
