Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:The Nurse Manager has 24/7 clinical, staffing, financial management and compliance responsibilities for Patient Education, Specialty Teams, the PICC Team, and the Skin, Wound, & Ostomy Programs. Will provide leadership, clinical expertise and guidance, and ensures effective patient care delivery systems that are consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice. Will work with nursing consortiums, school affiliations and preceptorships for students. May be responsible for program planning, product line development, contracts, and external marketing and/or community relations in support of program or product line(s). Will strategize, plan, and implement processes and standards to ensure operations that support key organizational and departmental initiatives. Coordinates the Medical Center's participation in the Nursing Consortium and assists Director with Magnet recertification. Accepts special projects as assigned by the Director.

Required Qualifications:Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and visitorsKnowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commissions requirementsDemonstrated effective management skills relating to nursing in an acute care settingCurrent California RN licenseCurrent BLS certificationBachelor of Science, Nursing
