Job Highlights:Reinventing Geospatial (RGi) is a leading geospatial expert working with Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients to achieve mission success and solutions for varied mission-critical programs. Projects at RGi span a wide range of software and analytical methodologies and lie at the intersection of software development and geospatial intelligence. As a software engineer, you will work to transform ingested file-based data sources, regardless of specification, to allow for search and discoverability when data is stored in National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) libraries and other locations. In addition, you will work with Full Motion Video (FMV) and GDTS Moving Target Indicator (MTI) capabilities, allowing FMV and MTI data to be transcoded where applicable and disseminated in near real time at multiple security levels. This includes software development, implementation, and deployment to operations.RGi is looking for a talented Software Engineer that is passionate about technology and the mission of our customers to join our team! The candidate must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to balance simultaneous tasks to keep pace with our team of high performers.Clearance:Active TS/SCIUS Citizenship requiredSoftware Engineer Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required.Full-Stack Java Developer in Linux environmentExperience with design patterns and object-oriented architectureDemonstrated experience with Agile and DevSecOps toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and CucumberDesired experience includes Security+ CertificationContainerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, AWS Cloud Technologies, and building automated testsAdditional Skills We’d Like to See:Knowledge of GEOINT enterprise highly preferredExperience with deployment of software systems to virtual machine environmentsExperience integrating with PostGresExperience with the following engineering tools/technologies: scripting (e.g., Perl), DOORS, Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Git, etc.)SOAP based web services (WS-Security experience highly desirable)Ozone Widget Platform/Framework widget integrationAttribute based access controls specified through SAMLIntegration of imagery product file parsing (NITF, GeoTIFF, etc.)Web service integration with Apache Service MixJava applications deployed to Java Enterprise application/servlet containers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.)Integrating with OGC compliant applications familiarity (CSW, WGS, WMS, WCS, etc.)Geospatial metadata representation of records (standards experience preferred: ISO 19115/19139)Who we are:Reinventing Geospatial, Inc.
