Network Security Sales Engineer
in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our
Germantown, MD
office.Job Responsibilities:Develop and recommend customers' network security measures such as Firewall, Access points, PCI compliance and other network devices.Coordinate network or design activities with designers of associated networks. Develop conceptual, logical, or physical network designs.Prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, or recommended technologies.Prepare design presentations and proposals for internal stakeholders and customers.Research new networking technologies to determine what would best support customers' organizations in the future.Basic Requirements:Master's degree in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus 6 months' experience in network security or Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in network security.Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: network firewall; access points; PCI compliance; networking technologies; IT auditing and governance; business continuity/disaster recovery; cyber defense; digital forensics; security testing and assessment; and cyber physical system security.Travel within U.S. required twice or less per month.Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.EchoStar is committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
