A day in the life:
As a System Administrator, you will work on a fast-paced team providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications. You will manage the IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems, and provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, etc.Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Provide Tier 1/2 level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problemsConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systemsInstall and load operating system softwareConfigure network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performanceWhat you bring to the table:
10+ years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope and complexityA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline from an accredited institution or five (5) additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languagesExperience with system hardeningExperience working closely with ISSOs for system complianceMust be DoD 8570 compliant - IAT Level IA TS/SCI with Polygraph is requiredBonus Skills:Familiarity with Big FixAn understanding of AnsibleWhy Red Alpha?
