All we're missing is you!Please note this is a Hybrid only role working Tuesday's & Wednesday's from our Austin officeEssential FunctionsProvide professional leadership, focusing on monitoring activity, the highest levels of performance and customer satisfactionCoach and mentor the team ensuring their ongoing developmentBe commercially aware of key industry developments and market trendsAct as a key contributor within the US Sales Management TeamAct as an escalation point for Forcepoint customers and accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls from/to end users and reseller partners to maintain customer satisfaction and progress sales opportunitiesUse a consultative approach to educate end users and reseller partners, provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunitiesProvide weekly business pipeline reports/forecasts for all business developed and closed by your team to the Sr. Director - Americas, RenewalsInterface with end users and reseller partners on a daily basis via telephone and email to provide assistance and support the closure of revenue opportunitiesHelp in the planning and implementation of vertical and focused sales campaigns, ensuring effective and timely performance, work closely with the Forcepoint US Channel and Marketing teamsWork closely with sales operations/administrationAct as first point of escalation for existing businessEfficiently engage with sales resources, SE, Channel, Solutions Sales Specialists and Executives as required.Perform other duties and projects as assignedEducation and ExperienceUniversity degree is highly desirable; however, equivalent professional experience will also be acceptedExtensive proven IT sales experienceComprehensive experience of related management or supervisory experience in a high tech companyProven track record in motivating and appraising staff and building and retaining teamsA successful track record in delivering to defined revenue/margin targetsKnowledge of sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, SPIN, etc.Soft SkillsStrong communication and telephone skills are essential as well as skill in selling, time management and organizationAbility to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfactionA proven track record in coaching and mentoringA self-starter and proactive leader willing to display initiative with common senseResults driven and committed to 'outcomes rather than output'Team focused, with the ability to gain the personal support of othersCapable of developing empathy and rapport internally with staff and with customers and partnersStrong work ethic and committed to quality and customer serviceDisciplined, organized and methodical in approach to tasks and activitiesCommitted to the success of customers and colleaguesExcellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
