Control Systems Installer

Full-time position with Benefits - Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Compensation $21-$23/hr based on experienceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem.Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs while complying with the relevant codes.Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.Bends and uses conduit and pulls insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.Performs physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits along with moving or lifting heavy objects.Performs any and all other duties required to complete the job assignment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.Some knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Some knowledge of electrical applications for high and low-voltage electric systems.Some skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.Some skill in both verbal and written communication.Contact Information
