Global Banking & MarketsThe Corporate Derivatives Underwriting Group is responsible for managing the underwriting and approval of interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit derivative trades being proposed and executed by government, corporate, financial institution, and financial sponsor clients of the Global Banking & Markets (GBM) division. Typical client trade activity relates to managing risk on the back of M&A, financing, and/or other strategic initiatives, along with day-to-day exposures.Members of the Corporate Derivatives Underwriting Group work closely with:HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALThe Associate will work as an integral member of the team on the underwriting and approval of corporate derivative trades and counterparty limits. The position involves working on multiple simultaneous transactions at various stages and with differing approval timelines. This includes liaising with the desk on pricing and risk models, legal & documentation teams on summarizing key transaction terms, researching and summarizing key financial highlights, preparing Cap Tables and requisite financial statements.
