, you'll play a pivotal role in the Worldpay engineering organization by developing core versions of software applications purchased by our external clients. You will leverage your expertise in

Java

to design and build scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the complex requirements of our financial services clients.What you'll own:Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clientsIdentify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representativesInteract with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or softwareTrain and communicate with clients on systems application

What you bring:10+ years Java Development experience and a strong engineering background with expertise in designing and building highly scalable, loosely coupled, event driven, distributed systemsExpertise in writing web-applications, using Java and database persistenceCapable of leading by example and establishing industry best practice across all functions of the team including software development, TDD/BDD, DevOps & cloudExperience of leading change and establishing engineering best practice in technical teamsDemonstrated accountability for a production service having contributed to the service buildKnowledgeable on BDD / TDD practices Design/ArchitectureKnowledgeable on Microservice ArchitectureKnowledgeable with current technology architectures and approaches such as Event Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing & CQRS Technical

Technical Skills (Must Have)Experience building enterprise applications using Java (Java 8)Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)Knowledgeable on DevOps best practices, technologies and tools (Ansible, terraform)

The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
