Corporate Controller

Banyan Search has been retained to assist in the search for a Corporate Controller for an established, growing Triad based organization. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will provide oversight and direction to several functioning accounting areas within the organization. The Controller will also be looked upon to make improvements related to internal systems and processes enhancing operations and financial reporting.Responsibilities for the Corporate Controller position will include:Management of the month end and annual close processProvide guidance and manage 3-4 functional accounting areasOversee all accounting, ledger and reporting systemsEnsure compliance with appropriate GAAP and regulatory requirementsProvide financial data analysis to CFOPresent financial statement information to CFO and management teamManage accounting staff including training and performance reviewsQualified Corporate Controller candidates will possess:BS/BA in Accounting or FinanceCPA and/or public accounting experience preferredSupervisory experienceReal estate industry experience a plusStrong communication skillsAbility to promote positive work environment and support staffInterested and qualified Corporate Controller candidates should apply directly to this position on our website.
