#WeAreCrowdStrike and our mission is to stop breaches. As a global leader in cybersecurity, our team changed the game. Since our inception, our market leading cloud-native platform has offered unparalleled protection against the most sophisticated cyberattacks. About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer for our Cloud Security Runtime Protection team. The team is extending CrowdStrike’s mission of “stopping breaches” into the cloud-native workloads with the ultimate goal of providing a single platform for securing the entire lifecycle of cloud workloads from development through deployment to runtime.

The Software Development Engineer will join the Cloud Security Runtime Protection team that is in charge of building and maintaining detection and prevention features and capabilities for protecting cloud workloads and infrastructure, and containers and Kubernetes in particular. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that works at the intersection of software development and cloud security and is responsible for delivering complex features spanning the entire security stack from agents and sensors to cloud services.

Experience level: 4+ years

What You’ll Do:

Leverage Crowdstrike’s cloud-based platform that processes over a trillion of events every day to build cloud services and workload protection capabilities using the technology stack that includes:

Golang

AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

Kafka

Cassandra

ElasticSearch

Redis

Git

Research and develop new and introduce improvements to the existing cloud runtime security features that are used by our customers to protect their cloud workloads and infrastructure.

Learn and share with others the newest cloud technologies and security-relevant aspects of the cloud workloads and infrastructure, raising the technical IQ of the team and contributing to the product direction.

Be mentored and mentor other developers on web, backend, and data storage technologies.

What You'll Need:

Professional experience with and deep understanding of all aspects of cloud services/distributed systems development and maintenance.

Deep understanding of software engineering best practices.
