Your Impact

You will be a strategic business partner to Axon's sales teams and a broad set of key business stakeholders and cross-functional leaders across the company to provide point of view and to drive policy governance, robust internal controls, timely and accurate US GAAP accounting and reporting process, and integrate new businesses and operations.

What You'll Do

Serve as a thought leader to sales teams on sales strategy development, new product introduction, contract negotiation, financial modeling, accounting analysis and documentation.

Implement robust internal controls and processes to drive high quality Close and financial reporting, including both operational and financial metrics.

Drive operational excellence to develop a scalable commercial controllership process in a high growth environment.

Oversee and drive analysis and diagnosis of KPI and productivity metrics to optimize operational results over time.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data transformation to deliver faster and richer insights to make data-driven decisions.

Lead certain strategic Controllership M&A integration, including process and system integration. Collaborate with key functional leaders such as supply chain and operations on operational integration.

Support ad hoc Controllership projects that arise due to our rapid growth.

What You'll Bring

10+ years of relevant experience

BS or equivalent in accounting or finance

CPA

Strong technical US GAAP knowledge with depth in revenue recognition

Experience with order to cash or revenue recognition functions at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companies

Relevant industry experience in connected devices and software a plus

Prior experience in process transformation a plus

Strong business acumen

Strong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills

Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively

Excellent financial modeling experience

Experience in supporting a global sales organization across multiple time zones

Ability to manage multiple priorities

M&A integration

Experience with Salesforce, D365 and Microsoft Power Platform a plus

Pay Transparency

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 144,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 235,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
