Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. No weekends, evenings or Holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides care in the individual and group setting

Works with radiologists and technologists throughout the organization to provide education and monitoring services for all referred patients

Assesses patients for their learning needs, follows them appropriately and documents in the patient electronic medical record

Collaborates with the practice manager in relation to time utilization and program development

Assists radiologists and technologists with setting up IVs

Utilizes the curriculum developed for the care of patients

Provides professional and courteous care to patients

Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.

Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives

Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.

Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed

Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed by manager

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN, MSN)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

2+ years nursing experience

Experience administering an IV

Epic EMR experience

Experience working in a MD office setting

Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

New York Residents Only:

The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
