REMOTE-Information System Security Officer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking highly skilled and experienced Information System Security Officers (ISSO) to join an active government program based out of Reston, Virginia on a

100% REMOTE

basis. The ISSO will work in a remote capacity to provide client support . This individual should be experienced and well versed in performing assessment activities including examination, verification, correction and documentation of system security controls.Responsibilities of Information System Security Officer:Utilize NIST SP 800-53 standards and RMF expertise to assess systems security and ensure compliance.Develop and maintain system documentation including System Security Plans and Risk Assessment Reports.Schedule and perform initial and recurring Continuous Monitoring assessments.Validate scan results, support inventory management and oversee change and process management.Support external FISMA and OIG auditsQualifications of Information System Security Officer:8+ Years of experience in governance, risk and compliance including 5+ years of government customer support.Experience with FISMA, Assessments and Authorizations, and Continuous Monitoring.Well versed in policy and standards development and support in addition to authorization packages.Education:

Bachelor’s Degree requiredCertification:

Active CISSP requiredClearance: Active Public Trust requiredCompensation of Information System Security Officer:Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 **depending on experience**Benefit Package:
