Position: Civil Project Engineer (Transportation/Roadways)Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Project Engineer with a specialization in Transportation and Roadways. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Design:
Develop and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications for transportation and roadway projects, including highways, streets, intersections, and other related infrastructure.Project Management:
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.Technical Analysis:
Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical analyses to support project planning and design. Utilize engineering software and tools for modeling and simulation.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and guidelines. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals.Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. Perform inspections and reviews during construction phases.Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues promptly.Innovation and Sustainability:
Promote innovative and sustainable engineering practices in all projects. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, not required.Experience:
Minimum of [3] years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation and roadway projects.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of transportation planning, geometric design, and traffic engineering.Project Management:
Proven experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion. Strong organizational and time management skills.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
