Senior Software Developer
to join the team in
Tampa, FL, Roseland, NJ or Woburn, MA . This will be
remote/hybrid
with 3 days a week being in the
office
in one of these locations and 2 days a week working from
home .The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and installing software solutions to meet the needs of the company and maximize efficiencies through the use of technology. This position primarily works independently, but interacts closely with various departments to meet company needs.Responsibilities
Full lifecycle application developmentResponsible for conducting annual performance reviews for junior developers/direct reportsResponsible for liaising with customer counterparts to complete joint software and system development projectsSelf-manage projects assigned to youResponsible for designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languagesConducts software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics and system risk and reliability analysisConducts software modeling and simulation to ensure system functionalityResponsible to develop front end graphical user interface designPerforms software testing and quality assurancePerformance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automationSupports, maintains, documents and reports software functionalityEnsures smooth integration of software with existing systemsEvaluates and identifies new technologies for implementationEnsures and promotes effective and efficient utilization of company resourcesParticipates in development of long range planning for new projects and programsMaintains all standards of complianceProvides advice, training and technical support for various projects as requiredPerforms miscellaneous duties as assigned by ManagementQualifications
Bachelor degree in computer science or related fieldA minimum of ten years related experience in software programming; or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredExtensive knowledge in an MS Windows platform requiredMust possess expert knowledge of all listed computer languages and ability to learn new languages quicklyExpert knowledge of data structures, computer logic and computer program design methods and techniquesExperience working within an agile development environmentMust be knowledgeable in multiple software programs including, but not limited to, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, T-SQL, .NET Framework 4.8+, .NET 6+, Angular, Angular JS, Entity Framework 6+, EF Core, xUnit, SQL Server 2019+, Git, TeamCity, Octopus, webpack, PowerShell, Atlassian, Azure, Jira, confluence, BitBucket.Ability to write, edit and debug computer programs in order to achieve desired outputStrong knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulasMust demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is neededDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
