Model Based Systems Engineer II

to work on our client's site in

San Diego, CA.The Model Based Systems Engineer II is responsible for utilizing model-based engineering methodologies to design and develop complex systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectures, creating and maintaining system models, conducting analyses and simulations, and participating in system integration and testing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in model-based systems engineering principles, experience with industry-standard tools, and familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).Job Responsibilities

Utilize model-based engineering methodologies to design and develop complex systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectures.Create and maintain system models using industry-standard tools such as SysML or UML.Conduct analyses and simulations to validate system models and assess performance.Generate and maintain system documentation, including models, diagrams, and specifications.Participate in system integration and testing activities to ensure seamless implementation.Provide guidance on model-based engineering best practices to project teams.Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in model-based engineering.Ensure compliance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 YearlyJob Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, or other sciences where advanced math skills are utilized (e.g., Business, Math, Statistics, Probability).3+ years of professional experience performing model-based systems engineering principles.Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and practices.Strong knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML).Experience with cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent tools (e.g., MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, Systems Architect).Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Proficiency in generating and maintaining comprehensive system documentation.Must Have
