As Director of Housing, you’ll play a key role in guiding our transitional and independent living services, ensuring that each day brings new opportunities to create lasting change.A Day in the Life:Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential while ensuring top-notch client care.Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations to guarantee the safety and well-being of our clients.Collaboration & Community Engagement: Work alongside public and private agencies, actively participate in community meetings, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.Resource Management: Oversee budget management, identify new funding opportunities, and ensure that all client records and housing compliance measures are accurately maintained.Program Development: Lead the development of life skills programs, holiday events, and employment skills workshops that empower our clients for success.Director of Housing Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop your team to deliver exceptional housing services.Ensure all programs meet regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards.Partner with the grants team to secure funding for innovative programs.Serve as the Continuum of Care Delegate in community meetings.Act as a liaison with landlords to expand housing options for our clients.Oversee the coordination of weekly life skills and special events programs.Develop materials and programs to enhance the employment skills of our clients.Director of Housing Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy, human services, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Experience: At least two years in housing services and three years in a supervisory role.Expertise: Knowledge of federal housing grants, child welfare regulations, and advocacy standards.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic clinical records management.Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for extensive travel to client homes and community settings.What you’ll receive as a valued member of Home of the Innocents:Full Healthcare and Benefits packagePaid Time Off401k MatchingOngoing Training and Certification OpportunitiesContinued education programsTuition ReimbursementStudent Loan Forgiveness opportunity through Public Service Loan Forgiveness*Sanctuary Certified OrganizationProgram provided by U.S. Department of Education
