For inpatients, we work as part of the award-winning Stroke Care Team. We provide communication and swallowing diagnostic and rehabilitative services to facilitate the patient's ability to maintain or regain skills to promote independent living and quality of life. Outpatient services include treating children through aged populations with communication, memory, and swallowing disorders.
The position will require some travel to area homes and day care centers in addition to clinic-based services.We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, three-week vacation accrual to start, low cost medical and dental insurance, free disability and life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.The Speech & Audiology Department at Holyoke Medical Center provides a supportive and professionally challenging environment. Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology with Certificate of Clinical Competency; current license or license eligible in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as Speech/Language Pathologist; w
e will accept applicants for their Clinical Fellowship Year;
certified or certification eligible by American Speech, Language and Hearing Association; Massachusetts Driver's License; current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; above average communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies and therapy preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish professionals are encouraged to apply.
