Seeking an inspired and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation for a great skilled nursing facility in beautiful Pendleton, Oregon.

Our team is in search of a Director of Rehabilitation to provide high quality therapy services to obtain the highest possible outcomes for our residents.

The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department. The DOR is responsible for the implementation of new programs to meet the needs of the facility and the residents.

Essential Job Duties (This includes but is not limited to):

Directly supervises and guides all therapy personnel in the assigned facility, which includes licensed, registered, certified therapists, assistants, aides, and students.

Daily scheduling for the department staff to meet the needs of the facility.

Provides direct care and works with the supervisor to determine appropriate caseload in tandem with management responsibilities.

Adherence to all regulatory standards as they pertain to the delivery of rehabilitation services.

Assures that the rehabilitation needs of the residents are met.

Ensures that all clinical documentation is complete, timely, and accurately reflects the services provided.

Monitors treatment programs for outcomes and adjusts plans of care accordingly.

Attends and participates in facility and company meetings as agreed with the facility and approved by the supervisor.

Completes billing documentation timely and accurately reflecting services provided in accordance with company standards.

Promotes a positive attitude among staff and the community regarding the company, its mission statement, philosophies, and goals.

Implements new treatment programs.

Ensures that the services delivered are of the highest quality and meet all standards of practice.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech Language Pathology. Prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech Language Pathology. Must be proficient in computer skills.
